It’s Friday again and time for Panzer’s round-up of relevant RSS feeds relating to personal finance and financial freedom.
Get Rich Slowly shares money tips from consumer reports ranging from saving money on auto-insurance to paying off one’s credit cards. The Digerati Life talks about saving money by losing weight and spending less on food and to exercise. I can vouch for this tip because my Monday to Friday breakfast habit of boiled rolled oats has helped me shed a few kilogrammes over one year. Digerati Life also examines 7 ways to handle unexpected expenses and financial emergencies.
The Simple Dollar explores how time is valued by different groups - Big Spenders, Frugal Folks and Cheapskates. The same blogger also goes on to explore the Net Worth Mentality, instead of talking about how much you earn, he talks about how much you’re worth - an important distinction if you are truly interested in becoming financially independent.
Coincidentally, Canadian blogger Million Dollar Journey asks his readers, “What does retirement mean to you?” It happened that I am in the middle of parts 1 and 2 of my series on “Are You Ready for Retirement”.
While you are busy in your career, family personal life, don’t forget to take care you YOUR own business, i.e. your financial life because only you are in the driving seat.
