This is my mini-boss at home.

She doesn’t talk much but lets me know in no uncertain terms if my job in helping to care for her is not up to her exacting standards.

She asks my spouse to work overtime at least 2-3 times a night to be “on-call” to provide her with sustenance and nourishment.

And yet, despite it all, I feel honoured and privileged (and tired!) to be doing all this.

Why am I pursuing financial freedom so relentlessly?
