Hi Panzer,
Nothing said now can be justified for the losses made by the companies that manage the SWF for the people of the country. The drastic turns of events of how the investments made in and out within a short span of time is puzzling to me.

I started out last September to invest in equity market and have been collecting dividends throughout this period of time. The values of my stocks have appreciated recently and continue to give out dividends this year as well. Although, less dividends were given out they still beat the interest earned from the banks.

This financial crisis has taught me many lessons. One thing for sure is that I should take charge of my financial management. Leaving them in the hands of financial institutions could turn out to be devastating. All I ask is to get a decent returns from my investments but it may not be that simple.
